More About Dr Azaz Ahmed:

Doctor Azaz Ahmed is a renowned Consultant of GI-HPB (Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary) surgery in Tata Medical Center Kolkata. He completed his MBBS from Goa Medical College, Panaji, Goa. After that he successfully completed his MS (General Surgery) from same Institute. Dr. Azaz also complete his DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology) form Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and Post-Doctoral Fellowship (GI-HPB Oncology) from Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.
Before joining Tata Medical Center Kolkata, he worked Assistant Lecturer in Department of General Surgery, Goa Medical College and Associate Consultant in Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

• Received Bursary during 28th National Conference IASGCON 2018 held at Chandigarh

• Received Good Poster prize for poster on “Randomized Comparative Study of CUSA
  and Water jet in Liver Resections” in 16th Annual Conference of International Hepato
  Pancreato Biliary Association held at Jaipur in Feb 2019.
• Received 1st prize in Zonal of GI surgery – Torrent Young Scholar Award, held at
  Chennai in November 2018.
• Received 3rd prize in Grand Finale of GI Surgery – Torrent Young Scholar Award held
  at Torrent Research Centre in December 2018.
• The ISTST Best poster prize for your presentation “Surgery for oesophageal cancers”
  at ISTSTCON 2021.
• Awarded ATEP Fellowship in Esophageal and thoracic surgery at Taiwan in 2021.
